WATER FORMULAS

Feng Shui translated means ‘wind and water’. Water is fundamental to Feng Shui as it moves energy around, is essential to mankind and represents wealth and prosperity in practise. Chinese believe that water and wind from a link between the heaven and earth and hence the significance of water in Feng Shui.

Water carries energy. So when water is moving rapidly, Feng Shui experts say that chi is running rapidly. When water is moving slowly and gently, chi is also moving in a slow and gentle manner. When the water has become dirty and stagnant then the chi has become bad. Feng Shui masters believe that when water begins to flows from behind your home and towards your front door, it will signify missed opportunities in life. Another common rule is that water should gently move towards your home and not seem to be moving away from your main door. However, for water to be deemed auspicious and bring good fortune to a house hold, it should gently move in a meandering way towards your home and be crystal clean.

The old Chinese texts state, that chi created by water can either bring great fortune to a family or bring bad luck to a family. It also states that water points are where chi can accumulate. In today’s modern world water flow and points are represented by many different forms such as, pathways, highways, drains, open ground, roads, car parks, fountains, pools, fish ponds and of course all types of natural water.

Water formulas apply to the external environment and are based upon complicated mathematical equations and rules. However they enable a practitioner to tap into the auspicious energy of a water flow or point so that it brings good luck to the home or office. Many of these water theories also compliment the Flying Star formulas and assist the practitioner in finding an excellent location for a second entrance into a house.

When flying stars are accurately analyzed and water formulas are oriented correctly in a home then the entire household will receive auspicious chi and have a generally happy and good life.
