Feng Shui is a Chinese Science that goes back at least 3000
years. In Chinese, Feng Shui means Wind and Water and these
two powerful elements of nature can be destructive or creative
on our environment.
Feng Shui can also be described as harnessing and maximizing
the invisible energy flow that circulates through all our
surroundings and is commonly known as Chi. The Chinese believe
that mankind chi is also the life force that manages our behavior
and actions.
Chi is very potent and can be either good or bad chi. The
practice of Feng Shui is the ability to distinguish, disperse,
overcome bad chi and the ability to create and strengthen
good chi.
Therefore Feng Shui’s basic concepts look at how chi
circulates and flows within our environments and the interplay
of yin and yang within the five elements.
